Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will lead the technical direction across AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Argo, Snowflake, S3, and custom ingestion pipelines.

The role requires 6+ years in cloud/DevOps/SRE, strong incident leadership, and deep expertise in IaC and observability. Flexible work options are offered with LATAM ET availability and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Cloud/Platform/SRE or DevOps roles.
• Hands-on AWS production environments and cloud architecture.
• Advanced Kubernetes and EKS expertise.
• Hands-on Argo Workflows or similar.
• Infrastructure as Code, Terraform preferred.
• Observability, logging, monitoring, and incident routing experience.
• Lead major incidents and cross-functional troubleshooting.
• Experience with SLAs, runbooks, release processes, on-call.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, S3 data lakes, SQL, dbt and ingestion tools.
• Python/Shell/Bash for automation.
• Ability to communicate tradeoffs and manage risks.
• Mentor engineers and improve processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and English communication.
• Availability for LatAm ET window and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and end-to-end reliability of the Data Platform across AWS/EKS/Snowflake/S3/ETL pipelines.
• Lead transition into managed services including platform discovery and risk mapping.
• Define cloud architecture principles and IaC standards across the stack.
• Provide leadership for AWS infra, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, and deployment automation.
• Translate requirements into actionable technical plans and backlogs.
• Guide cross-platform decisions involving Snowflake, dbt, and data pipelines.
• Lead cross-platform troubleshooting and L3 escalation during incidents.
• Direct major incident response with communication and RCA actions.
• Ensure releases include proper review, validation, rollback planning, and traceability.
• Define and monitor reliability indicators like availability and data freshness.
• Drive automation, observability, and cost-efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with Security, Governance, Analytics, IT for least-privilege access.
• Review designs and mentor engineers to improve practices.
• Align LatAm and India coverage windows with clear handoffs.
• Participate in senior escalation and on-call model.
