Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will lead the technical transition into managed services, establish IaC standards and drive incident response across multi-cloud components.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in cloud/platform engineering, deep AWS/Kubernetes expertise, Terraform, Argo Workflows, and strong data stack knowledge (Snowflake, S3, dbt, Fivetran).

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Cloud/Platform Eng, DevOps or SRE.
• Hands-on with AWS production environments including security and networking.
• Advanced Kubernetes and Amazon EKS experience.
• Hands-on with Argo Workflows or comparable tooling.
• IaC experience, Terraform preferred.
• Observability, logging, monitoring and incident routing expertise.
• Lead incidents and cross-functional troubleshooting.
• Production platforms with SLAs, runbooks and on-call duties.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, S3 data lakes, SQL, dbt, Fivetran or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, Bash for automation.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and teams.
• Availability within LatAm window (9:00–18:00 ET) for escalation.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reliability of the managed Data Platform across AWS, EKS, Snowflake, S3, Fivetran and Tableau dependencies.
• Lead transition into managed services with discovery, risk mapping and knowledge transfer.
• Define cloud architecture principles, IaC standards, CI/CD and release practices.
• Provide leadership for AWS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, deployment automation and access management.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and backlogs.
• Guide cross-platform decisions affecting Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran and data pipelines.
• Lead complex cross-platform troubleshooting and L3 escalation.
• Direct major incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Ensure changes/releases have proper reviews, validation and rollback plans.
• Define and monitor reliability indicators and capacity planning.
• Drive automation, observability, auto-remediation and cost efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with Security and Governance to enforce least-privilege access and auditability.
• Mentor engineers and align LatAm/India coverage windows.
