Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a motivated Chargeback Operations Intern to join our team. You will analyze and respond to card and ACH disputes, working with fraud/risk and disputes teams to determine action on a case-by-case basis.

You will also collaborate across departments to improve loss prevention processes and ensure timely resolution of queued cases while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Investigate disputed card, debit card, and ACH transactions and resolve disputes within SLAs.
• Collaborate with fraud, disputes, and other teams to determine next steps.
• Analyze individual transactions and identify patterns using internal policies.
• Understand systems/tools and review patterns via data analysis.
• Work with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to improve processes.
• Develop domain knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and technologies.
• Maintain SLAs to minimize potential losses and handle escalations professionally.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance research, productivity, and communication.
