Job summary

Global PE Real Estate Fund in Mexico City is seeking a CFO/Controller to lead finance, tax, reporting and accounting for its Mexican operations. The role demands strategic financial leadership, hands-on oversight and collaboration with senior management to support the fund's growth and expansion plans.

You will oversee financial statements, budgeting, tax matters, and joint ventures with international funds, while building a high-performing team and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• 10–15 years of related experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience in investment funds, private equity or real estate.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, management reports, and internal and external reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Partner with business teams on strategic and financial planning, cost optimization, and debt management.
• Lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting for properties, projects, and investment vehicles.
• Assess financial and operational implications of business decisions, including tax considerations.
• Analyze financial results, budgets, cash flows, and profitability, identifying drivers and risks.
