Job summary

ShipStation Global is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative in Monterrey to help grow our carrier network through proactive prospecting and strategic negotiations. You will work to cover freight costs efficiently while maintaining first-class service.

You will negotiate rates with carriers, monitor shipments, and respond to carrier and customer questions, ensuring timely tendering, delivery, receivables, and payments in line with company standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Proven ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Innovative thinker who learns and solves problems.
• Enthusiastic, assertive, driven, dynamic and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategies to grow and develop carrier portfolios through prospecting and sales.
• Deepen relationships within core carrier portfolios to drive business growth.
• Negotiate competitive rates with carriers to maximize profits while ensuring service quality.
• Stay informed on transportation industry developments and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Identify and address carrier communication issues during and after business hours, improving partner relations.
• Ensure all shipments are tracked according to policy and standards.
• Resolve routine customer questions and escalated challenges related to tendering, delivery, and payment to carriers.
• Adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
