Job summary

Latecoere México is seeking a Transport Coordinator to oversee the implementation, monitoring and analysis of transport activities. You will ensure adherence to the transport plan, manage costs, safety and quality, and coordinate with carriers and internal customers.

You will write technical specifications with sites, participate in tenders, track budgets, validate packing sheets, and build KPI reports with your manager to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Write technical specifications with sites to implement adapted solutions at the right costs.
• Participate in transport tenders and support scoring and reliability of the solution with procurement.
• Involved in contract adjustment with carriers.
• Track transport budget within the defined perimeter; manage freight audits and adjustments by carriers; analyze budget gaps.
• Ensure internal procedures are respected; identify new needs or change requests and manage process adjustments when needed.
• Analyze and manage deviations, damage and loss in collaboration with the sites; support Legal Management in follow-up and resolution.
• Validate packing sheets.
• Build and share KPI and activity reports in the defined perimeter with the manager; suggest actions to sites and carriers.

Job description

The Transport Coordinator ensures and corrdinates the implementation, monitoring and analysis of the transport activity. He/she secures the application of the defined transport plan, process and contracts taking into consideration constraints, safety, quality and cost requirements as well as performance. He/she coordinates the transport spent, relation with carriers and interface with internal customers and procurement. Contributes to continuous improvement and projects. Secures a market surveillence in order to permanently adjust solutions.

ACTIVITIES

• Write techincal specification in collaboration with the sites in order to implement adapted solutions, at right cots.
• Participate to transport call for tenders and support scoring and reliability of the technical solution and rate offer together with the procurement department. He/se is involved in the contract adjustment with carriers.
• Secures tracks transport budget on the defined perimeter. Manage freight audit and adjustment by carriers. Analyse gaps from the busget.
• Secures the internal defined procedures are respected. Identify new needs or changes requests, and mnage the process adjustment when needed.
• Analyse and manage deviations, damage and loss in collaborations with the sites, and support Legal Management in the follow up and resolution.
• Validate packing sheets.
• Built and share KPI, activity reports in the defined perimeter with his manager. Comments to the respective sites and with carriers in order to define actions.
