Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) Implementation Services in Mexico City seeks a high-performance leader to deliver and execute payments projects for issuers, acquirers, and merchants.

You will drive end-to-end implementations, manage governance and cross-functional squads, and maintain client-focused delivery with strong communication skills in English and Spanish.

Formación

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years with an Advanced degree.
  • Experience in financial services, payments, consulting or similar preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead end-to-end technology implementation and digital transformation projects.
  • Manage delivery across scope, timeline, risks, dependencies, milestones, KPIs and quality.
  • Define and execute project governance with clear decision making and accountability.

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.

Within VCA exists VCA Implementation Services (VIS), a hands-on execution partner, implementing, operating, and optimizing Visa products in client environments to accelerate activation, portfolio growth, risk control, and data-driven performance.

The Visa Consulting and Analytics team is looking for a high-performance individual to join its Implementation Services practice and play a key role in developing and delivering high impact projects in the Mexican market. The potential candidate will proactively engage with Visa Clients, by delivering, implementing and executing projects and solutionson behalf of issuers, acquirers and merchants. This person will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both,thepreferred brand and unique business partner. The VCA Implementation Service will support the design, implementation and execution of VCA’s recommendations for client’s on their behalf. This individual will shape delivery frameworks and methodologies and lead end-to-end implementation of customer lifecycle programs and campaigns, card portfolio solutions, product development/redesign projects, process improvements, and any enablement required to drive payment volume, revenue growth and efficiencies on behalf of our partners across the LAC region.

The potential candidate will proactively develop and carry on innovative and value-added use cases ensuring a smooth execution across all program stages including design, planning, segmentation, targeting, offering, distribution, reward fulfillment and performance management.

Specific duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Leadend to end technology implementation and digital transformation projects.

  • Manage delivery across scope, timeline, risks, dependencies, milestones, KPIs, and quality. Manage project backlogs and priorities to ensure continuous value delivery.

  • Define and execute project governance, ensuring clear decision making and accountability.

  • Coordinate cross functional technical squads, including internal teams, client teams, architects, developers, and implementation specialists.

  • Ensure implementation roadmaps are realistic, sequenced, and aligned with Assess client infrastructure, including payment platforms, integration layers, operational readiness, and technical capabilities.

  • Guide architecture decisions across from a delivery perspective

  • Act as the main interface between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment, communication, and timely decision making.

  • Client facing experience with ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • Maintain a client focused and value driven approach throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in quantitative fields such as business administration, economics, finance, computer science, engineering. Master’s Degree in related fields a plus.

7+ years of relevant experience in financial services industry, payments, consulting or similar.

Technological driven mindset, digitally savvy and up to date with latest market and industry analytical and digital trends.

Problem solving ability with strategic focus on influencing ROI. Understanding of card and payment P&L and critical factors driving profitability.

Knowledge of the Agile methodology, mainly kanban and scrum

Experience with Product Discovery, creating mind maps, mapping processes, services or products

Previous experience as a Product Manager or Tech Lead having lived in both worlds of products and technology.

Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.

Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills

Team player
