Johnson Controls is seeking a Finance Project Manager to support capital projects and strategic initiatives across the North America network in Apodaca, Mexico. You will connect financial analysis, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration to help teams manage investment, cost, capitalization, and business impact.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with capital project management and profitability studies.
• Proficiency with OneStream, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial justifications for capital projects across the North America network.
• Track capital project spending, timing, and cost impact against project plans, forecasts, and budget.
• Work with project managers to ensure timely capitalization of equipment placed in use.
• Liaise with stakeholders to provide regular financial progress updates.
• Identify and evaluate project financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Perform special studies and business case analyses for division management.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to corporate and divisional accounting and internal control procedures, SOX compliance, and reporting requirements.
