El rol implica realizar actividades de calibración en bancadas de prueba de motores, resolver problemas relacionados con la ECU y adaptar datos para asegurar un funcionamiento sin problemas. Formación

• Interés genuino en motores de combustión interna.
• Habilidad para investigar causas raíz de problemas y presentar resultados.
• Conocimiento del inglés, deseable el alemán.

Responsabilidades

• Resolución de problemas relacionados con la ECU durante pruebas del motor.
• Adaptación de datos de calibración para el funcionamiento óptimo.
• Desarrollo e implementación de mejoras para evitar problemas relacionados con la ECU.

Calibration Engineer

Joining the AVL team in México, you will be responsible to carry out engine calibration activities in engine test bed.

Location: Salio, México

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To solve any ECU related issues during engine test bed testing of internal combustion engines.
• To adapt calibration data to allow smooth operation during engine test bed testing.
• To steer development and implementation of improvement measures to avoid ECU related issues and more generally to improve KPIs for engine operation at engine test bed.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or comparable studies
• Genuine interest in internal combustion engines
• Knowledge in automotive electronics
• Knowledge of automotive communication systems (CAN, etc…)
• Ability to investigate root cause of issues, analyze data and formally present and report testing results.
• High level of coordination, communication and team skills
• Good knowledge of English
• German desirable, but not compulsory
