A global technology company is seeking a Business Analyst for its Cloud division in Mexico City. The role requires expertise in data analytics and statistical problem solving, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. You will support executive leadership and produce insights to improve business performance. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and experience in SQL or similar languages. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Quantitative Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, finance or a technical operations role.
• 6 years of experience in statistical problem solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding language (e.g., Python, R, Java, C++).

Preferred qualifications

• Master\'s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, etc.).
• 5 years of experience with designing experiments, developing statistical models, measurement, and identifying business opportunities.
• Experience in data analysis, with the ability to solve problems in complex, fast-moving, and ambiguous business environments through solid data intuition and business acumen.
• Experience influencing senior leadership on analytical decision making.
• Knowledge of Google tools (e.g., Plex, BQ, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Produce deep insights on the Global Cloud business performance and present actions/programs to improve performance (Pipeline, Health Indicators) for the short and long-term.
• Support executive leadership on regular and recurring business performance reviews (e.g., sales forecasts, QBCs) and drive insights within the region that influence strategic plans and execution.
• Share best practices with other regional/global Google Sales Operations teams.
• Engage in ad-hoc analyses to understand business performance/user metrics, KPI’s and provide concise summaries and recommendations to management.
