Schneider Electric is seeking a BMS Software Engineer to develop and validate Building Management System software for a range of facility automation projects. You will design, configure, and test DDC/PLC applications, integrate BACnet/LonWorks/Modbus/OPC protocols, and engineer complete HVAC control solutions across AHUs, chillers, boilers, and VAV systems.

The role requires hands-on DDC/programming experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with global customers

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a BMS Software Engineer or similar controls automation role.
• Experience with DDC programming and BMS software development.
• Knowledge of PLC programming (FBD, Script-Based, Ladder Logic).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, applications and control strategies.
• Experience with BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, OPC or similar protocols.
• Ability to interpret sequences of operation and project specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for HVAC control systems and software.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret project specifications and customer requirements to develop BMS software solutions.
• Develop, configure, and maintain DDC and PLC applications using proprietary platforms and standard methodologies.
• Develop control strategies, logic diagrams, and supervisory applications.
• Configure BMS protocols and integrate field devices and SCADA platforms.
• Engineer complete HVAC control solutions for AHUs, chiller systems, boilers, and VAV systems.
• Troubleshoot control loops and optimize system performance.
• Perform offline programming, simulation, FAT, and verification against requirements.
• Collaborate with design, commissioning, and project teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Produce technical documentation, testing records, and project deliverables.
• Manage tasks, schedules, and communicate risks.
