Qualifications

• Advanced written and spoken English (B2/C1+).
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
• Sharp attention to detail, because accuracy in invoicing and reporting is critical.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of following discrepancies through to resolution.
• Ability to work on your own and to know when to escalate issues to the Billing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Audit and review carrier invoices for accuracy.
• Update the TMS with customer billing information so invoices go out accurately and on time.
• Contact freight carriers to collect missing information and resolve billing problems.
• Troubleshoot billing discrepancies and follow each one through to resolution.
• Prepare accessorial submissions with precise documentation, since errors directly affect revenue.
• Prepare customer reports.
• Create and own key performance metrics for your billing work.
• Help roll out new initiatives that improve the accuracy and timeliness of customer invoicing and carrier payments.
• Escalate issues to the Billing Manager when they need further attention.
