Vertiv in Mexico City is seeking an Application Engineer with additional responsibilities to manage the Bid Center daily operations and coordinate bid requests. You will distribute workload based on backlog and ensure timely RFP responses.

The role requires 1–3 years in electrical engineering, fluent English, and knowledge of MV/LV systems, with strong documentation, collaboration, and process-improvement skills to support Sales Engineers.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering field.
• Fluent English written and verbal.
• Broad knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and one-line diagrams.
• Understanding of 3 phase power and working knowledge of batteries, switchgear, and supported products.
• Collaborative skills, detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
• Team player with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day to day functions of Bid Center.
• Distribute workload/bid requests appropriately based on current backlog.
• Ensure team is completing RFPs on time.
• Ensure that other requirements are completed by Application Engineers (IT training, HR training).
• Review RFPs and configuration with Application Engineers to ensure accuracy.
• Serve as point of contact between Bid Center and Mexico City IT and HR support.
• Work with Bid Center Manager to develop processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and utilization of Bid Center.
• Foster working relationship with Sales Engineers.
