Siemens Energy in Mexico City is seeking a Bid Manager for our Grid Technologies unit to lead large-scale power system bids and coordinate cross-functional proposals. You will work with clients to define technical and commercial needs and ensure timely, compliant bid delivery.

Ideally you have 5+ years in bid management in the power sector, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in bid management within the power systems or energy sector, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage large-scale bids, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Experience in writing and coordinating technical proposals and bids for power system projects, showcasing strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in power systems engineering, along with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage large-scale power system consulting bids, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Coordinate and oversee the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining effective communication and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the bid lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consulting, engineering, finance, and legal departments, to align bid objectives and strategies.
• Monitor and report on bid progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to enhance service offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
