Job summary

HSBC Mexico is seeking a Senior Team Lead for the Business Credit Office (BCO) to drive end-to-end credit management within Credit & Capital Management (CCM). You will lead the BCO COE in Mexico, direct professionals and contractors, and ensure rigorous risk controls while delivering efficient credit analysis, terms, and client monitoring in alignment with global standards.

Key responsibilities include owning the CCM journey, managing senior stakeholder relationships, and implementing process

Qualifications

Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
Deep knowledge of CCM and credit approvals.
Experience in overseeing large, complex loan portfolios.
Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Understanding of Investment Banking, ESG, and climate risk.

Responsibilities

Head BCO COE team in Mexico and deliver BCO tasks per OKRs, SLAs, and KPIs.
Lead end-to-end CCM journey for a mix of moderate to high complexity clients.
Coordinate with WCMR and RM to ensure seamless client handoff and risk controls.
Drive productivity improvements and adoption of technology for better client outcomes.
Manage a team of contractors and permanent staff, ensuring training and development.
Collaborate with regional leaders to align with global BCO/CCM standards.
Escalate risks and issues to country, regional, and global stakeholders.
Foster a compliant culture and support transition to Net Zero initiatives.
