Eaton is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Reynosa, MX facility within the Vehicle Controls division. You will execute product testing, lead validation efforts, and develop test fixtures for both NPIs and production environments.

You will collaborate with global teams to ensure conformance to standards and drive continuous improvement. The role emphasizes tools like LabVIEW, Python, and PLCs, with experience in CAN/J1939/LIN data and environmental testing.

Formación

• 2-3 years in automotive/electrical/mechanical testing environment
• Proficient with LabVIEW, Python, C compilers and programming environments
• Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of CAN, J1939, and LIN protocols
• Basic knowledge of Git (GitHub/Bitbucket)
• Experience with test equipment (DMMs, scopes, EC/AC loads, NI DAQs)
• Experience with environmental chambers, vibration/shock testing, and ESD testing

Responsabilidades

• Execute product testing and data acquisition for Low Voltage Vehicle Controls
• Lead validation testing and create test plans (DVP&R, PVP&R)
• Develop and procure test fixtures and control/test harnesses
• Collaborate with design and other departments to solve hardware/software test issues
• Summarize testing data and generate reports for stakeholders
• Direct lab technicians on test setup, execution, and results
• Ensure calibration dates are valid and tests align with standards
• Support product builds, launches, and production quality investigations
