Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Querétaro to oversee supplier performance for automotive electronics. You will work with production, engineering, and sourcing to drive improvements in quality and delivery.

The role requires hands-on 8D problem solving, data-driven analysis, and knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949. You will review supplier deviations, containment plans, and support continuous improvement across the supply base.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Supplier Quality in automotive-electronic industry.
• Experience with 8D, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of VDA 6.3, ISO 9001, IATF-16949.
• Experience with quality data analysis and SPC/MSA.
• Strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage suppliers and support production lines on complaints.
• Lead 8D reports and corrective actions.
• Implement systematic supplier quality practices.
• Review problem solving and failure analyses.
• Coordinate containment plans and supplier incident responses.
• Support manufacturing with quality issues on purchased parts.
