Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Mexico seeks a senior business development leader to define and execute the commercial strategy for Contract Logistics in the Automotive sector. Qualifications

• 5+ years in Contract Logistics, Supply Chain, or 3PL in Automotive/high-volume manufacturing.
• Proven leadership in Business Development, Sales, or Operations.
• Experience with key accounts and complex, high-value projects.
• End-to-end logistics design (inbound, warehousing, line feeding, outbound).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the business development strategy for Contract Logistics in Automotive.
• Identify, prospect and secure new OEM and Tier 1/2 client opportunities.
• Lead tender processes (RFPs/RFQs) including solution design and pricing.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to build competitive value propositions.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with automotive clients and stakeholders.
• Analyze market trends and customer demand to forecast opportunities.
• Ensure achievement of revenue, margin, and pipeline targets.
• Oversee transitions and ramp-ups of new operations to ensure supply continuity.
• Drive logistics innovations (automation, sequencing, milk-run, digitalization).
• Lead and develop BD and consultative sales teams.
• Prepare executive reports and KPI monitoring.
