Autoliv Mexico is seeking a Development Engineer to lead the technical assessment, validation, and implementation of design changes for seatbelt systems, including drawings updates and BOM releases.

You will coordinate with Program Management, Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing, and Launch Engineering to drive DV/PV testing and ensure product performance and regulatory compliance, while communicating with customers in English.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of automotive industry experience, preferably in product design or development.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, SPC, and engineering specifications.
• Experience with root cause analysis and 8D corrective actions.
• Excellent technical English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, development, validation, and release of production seatbelt systems.
• Manage engineering design changes, including drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with customers on development activities.
• Plan, execute, and analyze DV/PV validation testing and report results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects from concept to production launch.
