Autoliv Mexico seeks an Application Engineer to support multiple seatbelt projects, develop and validate products, and collaborate with OEMs and internal teams.

You will work with CAD/GD&T methods, CAE results, and manufacturing processes to ensure design integrity and on-time program milestones. Strong English and automotive experience are required for regional teamwork across Mexico and the US.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and strong English communication.
• Advanced English proficiency with strong verbal and written skills.
• Experience in seatbelt/restraint systems product design within automotive industry.
• Proficiency in CAD design, GD&T application, tolerance stack‑up analysis, and CAE interpretation.

Responsabilidades

• Design and validate seatbelt products and components to meet customer requirements and Autoliv specs.
• Collaborate with customers to balance styling, manufacturability, and cost objectives.
• Coordinate with global teams to support localization and launch of programs.
• Analyze specifications and translate requirements into robust designs and validated solutions.
• Drive development activities to achieve 1P1P objectives by improving quality and satisfaction.
