Capgemini Engineering is seeking a mechanical design engineer to design and release plastic components for mounting or housing ECUs, primarily for Infotainment and ADAS. You will design and modify 3D CATIA models and create 2D drawings per client guidelines, applying DFMEA and manufacturing-friendly design rules.

You will track cost and quality, generate part numbers, and coordinate tooling with suppliers to meet requirements while collaborating with technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in 3D/2D design with CATIA V5.
• Experience communicating with technical stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Experience with DFMEA.

Responsabilités

• Design and release plastic components for mounting or housing ECU components, mainly for Infotainment and ADAS.
• Design and modification of 3D CATIA models and 2D drawings per client guidelines.
• Cost and quality tracking throughout the development process.
• Generate part numbers and manage RFQs.
• Manage tooling manufacturing with suppliers to meet requirements.
