Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking a design engineer to develop and deliver 2D/3D CAD datasets from concept to production. You will lead design solutions, manage files and drawings, and ensure timely release for tooling kicks-off.

The role requires strong communication with both internal and external customers and the ability to lead teams across resources. Responsibilities include applying Lean principles, solving design and manufacturing feasibility issues, and driving projects from start to production while

Qualifications

• University degree in STEM field.
• Typically 5+ years of experience.
• Clear communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to lead a team including contract resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver product design datasets from concept to production.
• Lead development of design solutions for programs from award to production.
• Manage design files and drawings in the file library system (Teamcenter).
• Ensure on-time release of drawings and CAD data for tooling kick-off.
• Design components meeting customer performance and manufacturing requirements.
• Identify and resolve design issues during development and launch.
• Apply Lean engineering principles and problem-solving tools (DFMEA, 8D, 5-Why).
