Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is seeking a Tester Engineer (Automation) to design, develop and validate production test equipment, and to install and support it at manufacturing sites. You will implement software for test equipment including HMI and PLC, collaborate with suppliers, lead run-offs, and provide technical assistance to project teams while traveling as needed.

The role requires an engineering degree and 3–5 years in manufacturing, with strong English skills and broad technical

Formación

Engineering degree or related field is required.
3–5 years' experience in manufacturing processes, preferably automotive.
English language capability (speaking, reading & writing).
Broad technical knowledge in manufacturing, QA, and plant engineering.
Experience with test equipment design and development.

Responsabilidades

Facilitate daily workforce performance in EOLTs and download stations.
Design, development, fabrication, validation, installation and support of production test equipment.
Develop software for test equipment functionality, including HMI and PLC.
Install equipment at production facilities and perform troubleshooting.
Provide technical assistance to project teams regarding test equipment design.
Manage project work to meet timelines and ProLaunch deliverables.
