GEA Germany GmbH in Mexico City is seeking a Service Engineer - Automation for on-site support of filling and packaging equipment, ensuring reliable performance and KPI targets.

The role requires hands-on automation expertise (PLC, HMI, servo drives), English level B2, and experience across preventive and corrective maintenance, startup, and commissioning at diverse customer sites. You will collaborate with mechanical and process teams, document interventions, and uphold safety standards.

Formación

• Engineering degree required (Industrial, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics).
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• 3+ years of experience as an automation engineer in Filling & Packaging.
• Knowledge of electricity, automation, control and pneumatics; PLC programming.

Responsabilidades

• Provide automation support during preventive and corrective maintenance of filling and packaging machines.
• Diagnose PLC logic, HMI interfaces, sensors, actuators, servo/drive systems and networks.
• Support startup and commissioning after overhauls or upgrades; validate sequences and safety interlocks.
