We are seeking an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer to join our overseas team and serve our key automotive customers on-site in Mexico. In this role, you will take charge of on-site technical support, project execution, and customer technical communication for customized automotive parts automation production lines, ensuring stable equipment operation, smooth project delivery, and long-term customer partnership growth.
Independently complete full-cycle PLC electrical design, programming, commissioning and optimization for non-standard automotive parts automated production lines in Mexico. Respond to and resolve on-site technical faults and emergencies efficiently to guarantee continuous and stable production.
Engage in end-to-end technical communication with local Mexican clients, including requirement confirmation, technical solution explanation, on-site issue follow-up, and project progress synchronization. Maintain high customer satisfaction and proactively identify potential incremental projects and quotation demands.
Act as the on-site technical lead and part-time project manager, develop short-term on-site construction and commissioning schedules, coordinate cross-team collaboration between China headquarters and local on-site teams, and drive timely and standard project acceptance and delivery.
Regularly synchronize on-site project status, equipment operation conditions and customer feedback to the domestic team. Provide practical optimization suggestions for production line technology and processes based on on-site operational experience.
Leverage solid customer relationships and on-site technical insights to capture pre-sales opportunities in advance, support quotation and technical negotiation, and positively influence customer supplier selection and project decisions.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation or related technical majors.
Minimum 5 years of working experience as an Automation & Controls Engineer, with solid experience in automotive industry non-standard automation equipment projects. Capable of independently delivering full-process technical work for on-site projects. Candidates with on-site project experience in Mexico are strongly preferred.
Fluent infull-scenario English communication (oral & written), able to independently handle all technical docking, customer negotiation and daily business communication.
Proactive, responsible and solution-oriented with strong on-site problem-solving and emergency response capabilities. Possess excellent cross-cultural communication and team collaboration skills, and be willing to work and reside long-term in Mexico. Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and other office tools for daily work and project documentation.
