Job summary

Nemak is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Saltillo, Mexico, to upgrade site equipment through control logic changes and hardware replacements (HMIs and PLCs). You will support corrective and preventive maintenance to restart equipment after recurring failures.

The role emphasizes problem solving, automation, and safety, with responsibilities spanning startup support, engineering collaboration, documentation of PLC programs, and supervising a technical team on aluminum casting and molding

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
3+ years in aluminum fusion/molding industries.
Knowledge of automation, safety, and mechatronics.
Strong problem solving, planning, and communication skills.
Basic English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Support corrective and preventive maintenance during equipment startup.
Assist Maintenance Engineering with startups after new installations or process changes.
Report modifications to improve equipment and processes to Engineering.
Document PLC programming for equipment in the area.
Train personnel to improve technical skills.
Provide support for aluminum casting equipment or molding lines.
