Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Sr Lead, Automation Engineering to drive LATAM automation initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites. The role focuses on robotics, machine vision, digital transformation, and smart manufacturing technologies in a region-wide scope.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and global teams, providing technical leadership and ensuring standardization, scalability, and successful deployment. Travel up to 70% is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in industrial automation and manufacturing projects.
Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead industrial automation initiatives across manufacturing plants in LATAM.
Drive robotics, machine vision, and smart manufacturing projects.
Support implementation, commissioning, and deployment of automation technologies.
Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support for manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure standardization and scalability.
Support digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
