Newell Brands is seeking an Automation Manager LATAM to lead regional automation initiatives across LATAM manufacturing sites. This role focuses on advancing automation, robotics, digitalization, and manufacturing technology in collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and global teams.

You will drive projects, provide hands-on guidance with PLCs, HMIs, and robotics (FANUC/ABB), and support deployment from pilot to scale.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial automation and manufacturing projects.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and control systems.
• Hands-on experience with industrial robotics (FANUC, ABB, or similar).
• Experience with Smart Manufacturing or Industry 4.0 is desirable.
• Advanced English proficiency.

• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support for manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure standardization and scalability.
• Support digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial automation and manufacturing projects.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and manufacturing control systems.
• Hands-on experience with industrial robotics (FANUC, ABB, or similar platforms).
• Proven experience supporting automation implementation and deployment projects.
• Exposure to Smart Manufacturing, Digitalization, or Industry 4.0 initiatives is highly desirable.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Availability to travel up to 70% across LATAM and the United States
