Amazon Operations in Mexico seeks an Automation Engineer to fault find, troubleshoot and improve controls for automated material handling equipment. You will be the SME for site controls and collaborate with Global Controls to monitor and improve equipment availability.

Role requires PLC automation experience, 2+ years with conveyors, and English communication skills; proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office is desired. This role is onsite at the Tepotzotlán facility.

Competenze

PLC-based automation experience and fault diagnosis in continuous production.
2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience.
Experience in engineering and estimating material handling/storage systems.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and MS Office.
Strong verbal and written English communication.

Mansioni

Be the site level SME for all controls systems and sensors.
Train technicians in basics of control systems fault finding.
Monitor MHE metrics and provide visualization/data to internal customers.
Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Ensure proper documentation and backup libraries for systems.
Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Support other sites in the Mexico network.
Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and develop improvement strategies.
