Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering in Mexico is seeking an Automation Engineer to fault find, troubleshoot and improve control solutions for automated material handling equipment across conveyors, sorters, scanners and HMI systems.

You will work with global controls teams, train technicians on fault finding, and support installations while ensuring equipment availability and safety standards across the operation.

Formación

• Experience with PLC automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience.
• Experience in estimating material handling and storage systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.
• Experience in oral and written communication in English.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsabilidades

• Be the site level SME for all controls systems and sensors within the building. Work hands-on to monitor, fault find and repair systems to ensure high equipment availability.
• Train technicians in control systems fault finding to raise site knowledge levels.
• Collaborate with Global Controls network to monitor MHE metrics and provide visualization/data to internal customers.
• Participate in or lead continuous improvement projects coordinated by the Global Controls network.
• Ensure systems are documented and backup libraries are maintained.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment with global teams.
• Assist other sites in the Mexico network as required.
