The Hershey Company in Monterrey, MX is seeking a Team Lead for maintenance and calibration to coordinate daily skilled-trades work within a single team. You will assign tasks, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to safety and procedures while resolving routine issues and escalating larger problems as needed.

You will guide technicians through routine repairs, inspections, and calibrations, plan daily work, and maintain alignment with production goals.

Formación

• 3+ years of relevant experience in maintenance, repair, calibration or team leadership.
• Proven ability to coordinate daily skilled-trades work and manage priorities.

• Investigate Routine Equipment or Process Issues: evaluate symptoms, apply known solutions, involve operators to gather facts.
• Communicate Status and Challenges to Leaders and Peers: provide updates on completion, risks, and resources.

Job Overview

This role coordinates the daily work of technical specialists performing maintenance, repair, calibration, and equipment support tasks within a single team or line. They assign work, manage schedules, and ensure tasks follow defined procedures and operational requirements. The role resolves routine and moderately complex issues, escalating larger cross-line or multi-team problems to This role supports safe, reliable operations.

Accountabilities

• Coordinate Daily Skilled-Trades Work

  The Team Lead assigns tasks, organizes daily priorities, and ensures technicians have required tools, materials, and instructions. They monitor execution closely and resolve issues affecting timely task completion. This maintains efficient workflow and supports consistent operational performance.

• Support Maintenance, Repair, and Calibration Activities

  The Team Lead oversees and participates in routine technical work such as equipment repairs, checks, and calibrations. They guide troubleshooting within established methods and ensure adherence to safety and technical procedures. Issues that affect multiple lines or exceed routine scope are escalated to the L45 Associate Manager.

• Plan and Adjust Daily Work Schedules

  They prepare daily schedules based on production needs, technical priorities, and staffing availability. Adjustments are made as conditions change throughout the shift. This ensures alignment of technical work with operational requirements while maintaining on-time execution.

• Investigate Routine Equipment or Process Issues

  The Team Lead evaluates symptoms, uses available data, and applies known solutions to recommend corrective actions. They involve operators and technicians to gather facts and elevate unresolved issues through established channels. This supports accurate troubleshooting and reduces recurrence of common problems.

• Communicate Status and Challenges to Leaders and Peers

  They provide updates regarding work completion, emerging risks, and required resources. Clear and timely communication ensures alignment across operations, maintenance, and engineering. This supports coordinated execution and uninterrupted workflow.
