Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas, located in LA RIBERA, Baja California Sur, will be part of the exclusive Costa Palmas resort community, including a private marina and yacht club, along a two-mile stretch of pristine white sand by the Sea of Cortez.

The Assistant Director of Rooms joins the hotel leadership team to ensure standards, guest satisfaction, and prompt problem resolution.

Formación

• Two years in a leadership role at a luxury resort.
• Two years in similar area or guest relations.
• Ability to communicate, read and write in English and Spanish; extra languages are a plus.

About The Role Of The Assistant Director Of Rooms

Forms part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Resort. Assures that standards are met, guests and employees are satisfied, and problems are promptly resolved.

Directs and controls the activities of the Front Office, Guest Experience, Concierge, Housekeeping & Laundry.

What You Will Do

• Oversees the successful Daily Flow of Arrivals, Departures, Glitch Resolution, Guest Experience, Itineraries, Guestroom/Public Area/Residential Cleaning, and Laundry Operations.
• Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Will resolve complaints in person, by phone, or through written message.
• Assures that financial goals are being met. Monitors and controls labor expense, and supplies/equipment expenses. Works closely with Reservations, Sales and the Front Office to maximize rate, occupancy and total revenue. Maintains close relationships with the Phone Operators / Reservations Team to ensure guest service standards are met along with revenue/expense targets.
• Monitors, reviews, inspects, and analyzes, along with the Director of Housekeeping and Engineering leadership, the Perfect Room Program to provide a continuous maintenance plan of all of the guestrooms on a rotating yearly schedule.

What You Bring

• Minimum of two (2) years in a leadership role with a strong track record in a luxury resort
• Minimum experience of two (2) years in similar area or guest relations.
• Ability to communicate, read and write in English and Spanish. Extra languages are a plus.
