  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent process improvement methodologies is essential to lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Production Workers or a small Production Unit.
  • Ensure the quality of products produced and production yield; ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Lead safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement in the production area.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering to handle issues on the production line.
  • Monitor performance indicators and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.

Job Summary

Leads and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure efficient production processes. Oversees indirect production support functions to maintain operational excellence.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • This role is responsible for managing a team of Production Workers or a small Production Unit within a larger production operation
  • Responsible for the quality of the products produced, the production yield - You ensure timely delivery of products
  • Manages team of production worker in a production unit, ensuring targets in yield and output are met
  • Initiates improvements and is responsible for safety within his work field
  • Drives troubleshooting of minor issues on production line, and coordinate with other specialists (Maintenance, Engineering) to handle more critical issues
  • Manages in full a group of Operators in job within own working area
  • Initiates and drive small scale project, improvement initiatives
  • Leads a team to execute manufacturing processes in compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinates resources and schedules to optimize production flow and meet targets.
  • Monitors performance indicators and implements corrective actions to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in manufacturing operations.
  • Manages indirect production support activities, including maintenance and logistics.
  • Provides training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and performance.
Critical Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field to ensure foundational knowledge of production processes and quality management.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role managing production teams and driving process improvements.
