Signify in Monterrey is seeking an engineering intern (Practicante de Ingenieria) to support manufacturing projects at the Cooper Lighting Solutions plant. The role involves BOMs, capital investment considerations, and hands-on involvement in assembly cell design and tooling development.

The candidate should be an engineering student with some English, a proactive attitude, and the ability to use SolidWorks or similar CAD tools, plus MS Office and Power BI.

Formación

• Engineering student in a relevant field (Electrical/Electronic/Automation/Mechatronics/Industrial).
• Ability to communicate in English and work proactively with teams.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or any 3D CAD software and basic MS Office/Power BI skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate in creating Bills of Materials and capital investment business cases.
• Assist in design and development of assembly cells.
• Help develop work instructions, time studies, and line balancing.
• Support electrical diagrams design for luminaires.
• Assist in coordinating pilot runs for new launches.

• Colaborar en la creación de: Billetes de Materiales, Business Cases para aprobación de Inversiones de Capital, Compra, seguimiento, instalación y puesta en marcha de nuevos equipos de manufactura.
• Colaboración en el diseño y desarrollo de celdas de ensamble
• Asistir en el Desarrollo de Instrucciones de Trabajo, toma de tiempos y balanceo de líneas.
• Colaboración en el diseño de Diagramas eléctricos de Luminarias
• Asistir en la coordinación de Corridas Piloto de nuevos lanzamientos
