Amazon Inc. is recruiting an Area Manager to lead and develop a team of Amazon Associates in a busy sort center environment. You will mentor and coach staff, ensure safety, productivity, and engagement, and drive continuous improvement during shifts. The role requires flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays onsite.

You will oversee 20–50 associates, manage daily tasks, and partner with management to uphold quality controls and safety programs while delivering on performance goals.

Formación

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a team of Amazon Associates in a sort center environment.
• Motivate, mentor and coach team; ensure safety, quality and engagement.
• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure alignment with daily operation plan.
• Communicate policies and maintain compliance; provide corrective actions when needed.
• Develop performance goals to meet customer demand and quality targets.
