Job summary

Smiths is seeking an Application Engineer in Mexico to manage RFQ for Wet Seal Support systems. You will review customer specs, select seal solutions, and prepare techno‑commercial quotations in alignment with Sales and stakeholders.

The role requires engineering judgment, standard engineering techniques, and proficiency with engineering software to support product selection and costing. Advanced English and Spanish are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/mechatronic/instrumentation/chemical engineering preferred.
• Three years minimum in engineering design, instrumentation or manufacturing.
• Fluent English and Spanish, strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
• Select seal systems, compute costs and lead times for proposals.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to support specs and pricing.
