John Crane Mexico is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver Engineered-to-Order sealing design services to Global Engineering and site offices. You will implement QMS for mechanical sealing design and perform CAD tasks in Solid Edge.

The role requires 1-2 years of design office experience, Solid Edge proficiency, and knowledge of fits, tolerances, and GD&T. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a design office.
• Proficient in Solid Edge 3D/2D.
• Basic knowledge of Fits and Tolerances and GD&T.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Review drawing office requests and establish design requirements.
• Prepare error-free General Arrangement and Manufacturing drawings in Solid Edge.
• Execute quality self-checks for General Arrangement and Manufacturing drawings.
• Process Global Change Notifications.
• Maintain and submit monthly performance reports to Supervisor.
• Support Global Engineering and site offices across countries with drawing design.
• Promote First Time Right culture and continuous improvements.
