Accenture México is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to ensure reliability of enterprise applications. You will support and maintain applications on hybrid environments (AWS, OpenShift) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve stability and performance.

The role requires 11 years of experience, advanced English, and strong automation skills with Python, Shell, and Ansible. Hybrid work model in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, analyze, and resolve issues across critical business applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues for developers.
• Maintain applications on hybrid environments including AWS, OpenShift, and Private Cloud.
• Configure and manage WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, and SSL/TLS certificates.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts and automation using Python, Shell, and Ansible.
• Script and deploy Java/J2EE apps using CI/CD tools like CloudBees (ElectricFlow).
• Apply SRE principles to improve reliability and operational excellence.

Application Support Engineer

Are you passionate about application support, cloud technologies, automation, and ensuring the reliability of critical business systems? We're looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team and help maintain highly available, secure, and scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a "software detective" by identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues across multiple components of critical business applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure application stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Support developers by troubleshooting and resolving application‑related issues.
• Support and maintain applications hosted on hybrid environments, including AWS, OpenShift, and Private Cloud.
• Build, configure, administer, and maintain WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache Web Servers.
• Monitor application environments and proactively troubleshoot issues using observability tools.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation, including off‑hours and weekend support.
• Tune application server parameters to optimize system performance.
• Install, configure, and maintain SSL/TLS certificates on web and application servers.
• Develop and maintain Linux/Unix shell scripts to support system administration activities.
• Automate application, system, and configuration management using Python, Shell Scripting, and Ansible.
• Deploy Java/J2EE applications using CI/CD tools such as CloudBees (ElectricFlow).
• Configure and manage F5 Load Balancers, including iRules and SSL/TLS implementations.
• Develop and maintain automated functional test scripts.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve application reliability and operational excellence.
