Sequoia Connect is seeking a Java Backend Developer to help drive digital transformation on a global scale. You will design and implement backend microservices with Spring Boot, leverage Kafka for streaming, and manage MongoDB data in a hybrid work environment.

Formación

• 8 to 10 years of backend software experience.
• Hands-on with building microservices using Spring Boot.
• Experience with streaming/messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Strong understanding of container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience handling non-relational data in MongoDB.
• Proficiency in establishing and maintaining CI/CD workflows.
• Experience deploying services in Microsoft Azure.

We are currently searching for a Java Backend Developer:

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

• Manage and resolve incidents within agreed service levels
• Resolve the most complex and critical application issues
• Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless resolution of production incidents
• Communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders about critical incidents and improvements
• Monitor system performance and collaborates with Product teams on improving applications for better performance stability and easier supportability
• Develops maintains and tracks Error Budgets for supported applications
• Implementation of automated alerts and monitoring of application and underlying infrastructure
• Lead supportrelated projects and initiatives
• Generate and analyze reports on support metrics and application performance
• Develop and maintain indepth knowledge base articles and documentation
• Mentor junior team members and provide advanced training sessions

• Work with industry leading technologies like Kubernetes Kafka MongoDB and Docker

Your Profile (Requirements)

• Experience 8 to 10 years
• Proven professional experience in backend software development using Java.
• Hands-on expertise building microservices with Spring Boot.
• Practical experience implementing streaming or messaging systems with Kafka.
• Solid understanding of container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Experience managing non-relational data with Mongo DB.
• Proficiency in establishing and maintaining CI/CD workflows.
• Experience deploying and managing services in Microsoft Azure.
• High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
• Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."

• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
