SOFTGIC is seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to provide L3 and BAU support for production web applications. You will troubleshoot complex issues, analyze behavior, and debug .NET/C# apps, with strong SQL Server expertise and experience with SSRS.

The role requires advanced English and availability to overlap US working hours, plus collaboration with US-based teams and stakeholders on incidents, fixes, and deployments.

Formación

• 4–8 years of professional IT experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide L3 and BAU production support for web applications.
• Own incidents from detection to resolution.
• Troubleshoot errors, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Perform RCA and implement preventive fixes.
• Work with MS SQL Server to investigate data problems.
• Analyze and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.

We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer with strong experience providing L3 and BAU support for production web applications.

This is an application support-focused position rather than a traditional software development role. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in troubleshooting complex production issues, working with SQL Server, analyzing application behavior, performing root cause analysis, and debugging .NET/C# applications when required.

You will collaborate with US-based development, infrastructure, and business teams, so advanced English and availability to overlap with US working hours are required.

What You'll Do

• Provide L3 and BAU production support for web-based applications.
• Own complex incidents and application issues through resolution.
• Troubleshoot application errors, bugs, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions for recurring issues.
• Work extensively with Microsoft SQL Server to investigate and resolve application and data-related problems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and queries.
• Debug existing applications built with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Implement or collaborate on bug fixes when necessary.
• Support and troubleshoot SSRS reports and SQL-based reporting processes.
• Monitor application performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on complex technical incidents.
• Participate in application updates, patches, testing, and deployments.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, solutions, SOPs, and application support processes.
• Communicate incident status and resolutions effectively to technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of professional IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in L3 Application Support / Production Support / BAU Support.
• Proven experience supporting web-based applications in production environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL querying.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and optimizing:
  • Stored Procedures
  • Functions
  • Triggers
  • Views
  • Complex SQL queries
• Strong experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
• Experience troubleshooting/debugging applications using:

  • ASP.NET
  • .NET Framework 4.0+

• Ability to analyze existing application code and perform or support debugging and bug fixes.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git/GitHub.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced English (B2+/C1) – ability to communicate effectively with US-based technical and business teams.
• Availability to overlap with US working hours.
