Autoliv Mexico in Querétaro is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop and validate seatbelt application products. You will lead project activities through critical phases, ensuring design and validation meet customer requirements and align with Autoliv's roadmap.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical Engineering, advanced English, GD&T expertise, and 3–5 years in product or development engineering, plus experience with test development, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute seatbelt application products.
• Lead, execute and support project activities during critical phases of awarded programs.
• Validate the product per customer requirements in time to support production launch.
• Develop designs aligned with customer needs and Autoliv's roadmaps.
• Support prototype part builds internally and at customer sites as required.
• Assist customer engineering and manufacturing plants as needed.
• Attend and participate in Feasibility Design and Engineering reviews.

Position Name

What you'll do:

Responsible for the development and execution of seatbelt application products.

Project Development: Lead, execute and support various project activities during technical critical phases of awarded programs.

The Engineer will be responsible for the product validation per customer requirements in time to support production launch.

Develop designs that are aligned with the customer's needs and Autoliv's product/process roadmap.

Support all prototype part builds both internally and at the customer, as required.

Support customer engineering and manufacturing plants as required.

Attends, supports and participate in Feasibility Design and Engineering reviews.

What is required:

• BS Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced English
• Strong knowledge of GD&T.
• 3-5 Years of Experience in Product or Development Engineering.
• Test development and analysis.
• Root cause and corrective action experience
