AutoZone de México is seeking a vendor disputes analyst responsible for timely resolution of vendor disputes to ensure proper payment and understanding of terms in vendor agreements. You will collaborate with Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, and Merchandising during resolution.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Job Description

SUMMARY

This position is accountable for the timely research and resolution of merchandise vendor disputes and inquiries in order to ensure proper payment and/or understanding of terms set forth in the vendor agreements. This includes fostering strong partnerships with the merchandise vendor, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain and Merchandising throughout the resolution process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for handling all aspects of individual vendor disputes
• Participate and contribute to the key initiatives of the department
• Reconciliation of large vendor's monthly statements
• Assist in department level process improvement projects
• Analyze reporting to identify vendor noncompliance
• Create and publish departmental metrics as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
• Area of Study: Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Years of Experience: Two to three years.
• Type of Experience: Relevant work experience
• Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Other/Preferred: Strong human relations, analytical, oral and written communication skills
