Experience / Qualification

Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business or similar

Experience in Foreign Trade, customs or similar

2-4 years of experience

Customs Legislations and General rules interpretation and knowledge

Customs Inventory Control system, annex 24, proficiency (Coesap, Zoe, Millenium, etc)

Import / export processes knowledge

Microsoft office proficient

Advanced English Level

Responsibilities

• Audit support - Assist in external or internal audits, whether conducted by internal or internal consultants or diverse authorities
• Customs Inventory Control system, annex 24, audit – Responsible of auditing customs operations, data integrity, materials balances,
• Tariff preference application – Ensure the correct preference application to exempt taxes according to our IMMEX program for pedimentos closure
• Non-tariff restrictions knowledge and application (permits, authorizations)
• Monitors raw material demand to request import authorization on time such a Rule 8th
• Customs Inventory Control system, annex 24, maintenance
• BOM structure interpretation
• Country of origin determination and product qualification for preferential duty treatment
• Certificate of origin elaboration and submission, depending on the Treaty
• General knowledge in supplychain security certifications such as CTPAT, AEO, BASC, etc.
• IVA/IEPS certification support
• IMMEX program management support
• Fixed Assets control and identification
• Be continuously updated with Mexican laws and regulations
