Job summary

Autoliv in Mexico is seeking an AMG Supervisor to manage resources at the Autonomous Manufacturing Center, guiding teams to hit safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while driving continuous improvement. You will lead start-up and ongoing improvements, coaching teams to enhance technical capabilities and collaboration.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 4+ years in quality/production, and strong knowledge of IATF 16949, Six Sigma, JIT, and TPM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in Quality and/or Production in manufacturing.

In this role you will beresponsible for managing and optimizing the resources assigned to the Autonomous Manufacturing Center (AMC) to ensure the achievement of production objectives in terms of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement. Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

• Manage and optimize manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure production targets are achieved in terms of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Lead and supervise manufacturing teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on efficiency, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
• Implement, maintain, and monitor operational standards and procedures to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.
• Develop, coach, and support team members to achieve departmental goals, strengthen technical capabilities, and promote effective teamwork and communication.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and new product launch activities, ensuring successful start-up execution and achievement of performance targets.

If You Have/are

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality and/or Production within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, TPM, APS, Six Sigma, JIT methodologies, and conflict resolution practices.
• Proven leadership and management skills, with experience driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in cross-functional teams and apply quality and cost-control techniques to optimize manufacturing performance.
