Autoliv Mexico is seeking a Maintenance Technician Team Leader to ensure reliable operation of production equipment through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. You will lead fault diagnosis, PLC programming, robotics, and vision systems to improve performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field and a minimum of six years' experience in manufacturing maintenance, with a proactive safety and reliability focus.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years in equipment maintenance, automation, and troubleshooting in manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, robots, and automated systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and automation issues to minimize downtime.
• Program, maintain, and optimize PLCs, robots, vision systems, and automation equipment to improve efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions with engineering teams.
• Ensure safety, quality, and maintenance standards; maintain records and prepare technical reports.

In this role you will beresponsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of production equipment through the execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.

Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, robots, and automated systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and uptime.

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and automation-related issues, minimizing downtime and supporting production objectives.

• Program, maintain, and optimize PLCs, industrial robots, vision systems, and automated manufacturing equipment to improve operational efficiency and process performance.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying root causes of equipment failures, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with engineering teams on equipment upgrades and automation enhancements.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and maintenance standards by conducting equipment inspections, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and preparing technical reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.

If you have/are:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in equipment maintenance, automation, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.

• Advanced expertise in PLC programming and troubleshooting, industrial robotics, vision systems, and automated manufacturing technologies.

• Proven problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with a proactive, self-directed approach and strong commitment to safety, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.
