Job summary

Flexport is seeking a Manager, Americas Control Tower to lead the execution strategy for ocean and air freight operations across North and Latin America from Guadalajara. You will drive excellence by standardizing processes, managing a team, and coordinating with Gateway, Carrier Performance Management, and Demand teams to ensure timely, accurate shipments for clients.

You will develop SOPs, dashboards, and escalations to support regional leadership.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
• 5+ years in freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain roles.
• 3+ years of people management in a freight forwarding or supply chain environment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish for leadership and coordination.
• Analytical, metrics-driven approach with familiarity in Looker or BI dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Gateway Operators within the Americas Control Tower for ocean and air modes.
• Serve as primary leadership presence for the Americas Control Tower; bridge to regional Gateway leaders.
• Establish escalation protocols, communication rhythms, and performance standards across Control Tower and regions.
• Lead weekend and after-hours coverage planning for accounts requiring extended support.
