Sika in Mexico is seeking a transportation procurement lead to drive freight optimization and logistics excellence across the Americas. You will focus on Ocean Freight while supporting optimization across all modes, developing regional standards, carrier strategies, and transportation solutions to improve service, reduce costs, and support growth.

Responsibilities include leading regional tenders, negotiating with carriers, and implementing standardized processes, dashboards, and governance.

Formación

• Experience in regional ocean freight procurement and freight optimization.
• Ability to lead RFPs and negotiate carrier agreements.
• Strong understanding of transportation governance and data reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor transportation markets and industry trends across the Americas.
• Lead regional transportation tenders, primarily Ocean Freight.
• Develop standardized processes and governance for transportation.
• Provide market intelligence and reporting with risk mitigation guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and total logistics cost.
• Lead end-to-end transportation RFPs across multiple countries.
• Develop sourcing strategies, bid packages, and award recommendations.
• Negotiate freight rates and SLAs with carriers and logistics providers.
• Build and manage a carrier network aligned with business needs.
• Support TMS implementation and transportation analytics.
