CEVA Logistics in Mexico City invites an experienced Air Pricing Specialist to join our pricing and commercial support teams. You will prepare and manage air freight quotations, analyze rates, and balance customer needs with profitability.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and international offices to unlock opportunities, negotiate with carriers, and maintain pricing tools while delivering precise, data-driven price proposals.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in Air Freight Pricing and related roles.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Experience negotiating with airlines or logistics vendors.
• Ability to work with international teams and manage complex data.

About the Role

As a Air Pricing Specialist you will be responsible for preparing and managing accurate, competitive air freight quotations tailored to meet customer requirements. You will analyse and compare complex air freight rates, surcharges, and transit times, providing cost-effective pricing solutions that balance customer needs with company profitability objectives. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and our international offices to unlock and support business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and competitive air freight quotations grounded in thorough customer requirement analysis.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis and benchmarking of air freight rates, surcharges, and transit times to craft cost-effective and strategic pricing proposals.
• Negotiate and maintain favourable rates with airlines, transportation providers, customs brokers, and other logistics partners to secure advantageous terms.
• Maintain and update pricing tools, rate databases, and vendor information to ensure accuracy and currency of data.
• Monitor market trends, carrier pricing, and industry developments to keep CEVA's offerings competitive and innovative.
• Perform advanced Excel-based pricing analyses, rate comparisons, and reporting to support decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with internal Sales, Operations teams, and overseas offices to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives and customer needs.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic logistics environment.

Professional Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in Air Freight Pricing, Air Export/Import, or similar roles within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• In-depth knowledge of the air freight industry, including familiarity with airlines, freight carriers, and logistics service providers.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating competitive rates and service agreements with airlines and logistics vendors.
• Strong operational understanding of air freight processes, customer requirements, and regulatory considerations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, capable of managing large datasets, performing detailed pricing analyses, and developing comparative reports.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, enabling effective collaboration across departments and with external partners.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to interact with international teams and partners.
