Uplift Talent is seeking a Software Engineer to improve an existing AI platform already in production. You will review the current Python codebase, strengthen architecture, and help deploy reliable AI solutions for clients.

The project lasts one month with potential extension based on needs, and is remote with base in Guadalajara. The ideal candidate has 4-5 years as a Software/Backend Engineer, strong Python experience, and a track record with AI-powered applications, testing, and iteration.

Formación

• English proficiency for collaboration and documentation.
• Strong focus on software architecture and maintainable design.
• Experience with refactoring production code safely and effectively.
• Experience building AI-powered applications and working with AI workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Review an existing Python codebase and AI platform.
• Improve software architecture, code quality, and maintainability.
• Enhance AI agent behaviour through testing and evaluation.
• Refactor functionality safely while maintaining stability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across apps and deployment environments.
• Build and improve automated tests to prevent regressions.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs and integrations.
• Document technical decisions and processes.
• Collaborate with the product owner throughout the project.
