Job summary

PALO IT is seeking an AI Tech Lead in CDMX to spearhead the design and implementation of AI-driven applications. You will lead cross-functional teams using Python, Java, GCP, and TypeScript while mentoring engineers on best practices and AI toolchains.

You will define technical roadmaps, review architecture, and drive high standards for quality, security, and performance across projects. Remote-friendly with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on AI technologies and cloud computing.
• Proficient in Python, Java, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), TypeScript, and modern databases (Firestore, Google Cloud SQL).
• Strong understanding of Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) and familiarity with Claude Code, GitHub (PR-based workflows), and GitHub Projects.

What does an AI Tech Lead do at PALO IT?

• Lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative software applications using Python and Java, along with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and TypeScript.


• Design and implement databases using Firestore and Google Cloud SQL to support scalable and efficient applications.


• Oversee the integration of AI services using the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK), optimizing their utility across projects.


• Mentor and coach the engineering team in best practices for utilizing Claude Code, GitHub (with PR-based workflows), and GitHub Projects.


• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and product requirements.


• Conduct architectural reviews and code assessments to maintain high standards for software quality and security.
